Jet ski and trailer storage in Columbia Falls
Same heated building, same $100 per foot of trailer length for the full October–May season. Our door is 10 feet tall, which is the limit on what we can accept.
Read this before you call
Our overhead door is 10 feet tall. That accommodates boats, jet skis and low trailers comfortably, but it rules out most motorhomes and travel trailers.
We would rather tell you now than have you tow a rig across the valley and find out at the door. If you are unsure, measure your unit at its tallest point — including air conditioners, vents and antennas — and call 406-312-5187.
What fits under a 10-foot door
Typical heights. Yours may differ — always measure.
| Unit | Typical height on trailer | Fits? |
|---|---|---|
| Jet skis / PWC on a trailer | 4–5′ | Yes |
| Fishing boat | 6–8′ | Yes |
| Ski or surf boat, tower folded | 7–9′ | Yes |
| Pontoon, bimini down | 7–9′ | Yes |
| Utility or snowmobile trailer | 6–8′ | Yes |
| Pop-up camper, collapsed | 5–6′ | Yes |
| Teardrop trailer | 5–6′ | Yes |
| Ski boat with a fixed tower | 9–11′ | Measure first |
| Travel trailer | 10–11′ | Usually not |
| Toy hauler | 11–12′ | No |
| Class C motorhome | 11–12′ | No |
| Class A motorhome | 12–13′ | No |
Most wakeboard towers fold down and clear the door easily. Fixed towers and hardtops are the common exception — measure to the highest fixed point with the boat sitting on its trailer.
Freeze damage in stored watercraft
Freezing temperatures are the primary cause of off-season damage in personal watercraft. Water left in cooling passages expands and commonly results in cracked exhaust components and split cooling lines — damage that is often not discovered until the following spring.
A heated, enclosed building holds everything above freezing and keeps rodents out of seats, storage compartments and wiring. It also eliminates eight months of UV exposure and snow load.

Delivery requirements
Confirm your height first
Measure to the tallest fixed point. This is the single most common reason a unit cannot be accepted, and it is best resolved on the phone.
Winterize completely
Drain and blow out water lines, add antifreeze where applicable, and stabilize the fuel. Heated storage is not a substitute for winterizing.
Remove personal property
All personal property, food and valuables must be removed. We are not responsible for items left inside, and food attracts rodents.
Close propane valves
Any propane tanks must be closed at the valve. No open fuel containers or hazardous materials in the building.
Reserve before the building fills
The heated building holds a fixed number of vessels and spaces are assigned first come, first served. Once it is full, we are closed for the season.
